Mommy's taking us to the zoo tomorrow,
Zoo tomorrow, zoo tomorrow,
Mommy's taking us to the zoo tomorrow
And we can stay all day.

Chorus:
We're going to the zoo, zoo, zoo
How about you, you you?
You can come too, too, too
We're going to the zoo, zoo zoo.

Look at the monkeys swinging in the trees,
Swinging in the trees, swinging in the trees,
Look at all the monkeys swinging in the trees,
We can stay all day.

Chorus

Look at all the crocodiles swimming in the water,
Swimming in the water, swimming in the water,
Look at all the crocodiles swimming in the water
We can stay all day.

Chorus

Yes, Mommy's taking us to the zoo tomorrow,
Zoo tomorrow, zoo tomorrow
Mommy's taking us to the zoo tomorrow
And we can stay all day.

"Boa Constrictor"

I'm being swallowed by a boa constrictor
I'm being swallowed by a boa constrictor
I'm being swallowed by a boa constrictor
And I don't like it very much!

Oh no, oh no he swallowed my toe, he swallowed by toe
Oh gee, oh gee, he's up to my knee, he's up to my knee
Oh fiddle, oh fiddle, he's up to my middle, he's up to my middle
Oh heck, oh heck, he's up to my neck, he's up to my neck
Oh dread, oh dread, he swallowed my (GULP!!) head!!

"Buster Goes to Cowboy Camp," by Denise Fleming
"Every Cowgirl Needs a Horse," by Rebecca Janni

Songs we sang today:

"BANJO"

I was born on a bright sunny day
So many years ago
While everyone sang Happy Birthday
I played the old banjo

B-A-N-J-O
B-A-N-J-O
B-A-N-J-O
Everybody loves the banjo.

My first day of school
I didn't know a single soul
But i made lots of friends that day
When I played by banjo.

B-A-N-J-O
B-A-N-J-O
B-A-N-J-O
Everybody loves the banjo.

Then I met Miss Terri Ann
And oh, I loved her so
And she said she would marry me
If I played my banjo.

B-A-N-J-O
B-A-N-J-O
B-A-N-J-O
Everybody loves the banjo.

It will make you clap yur hands
It will make you tap your toe
It will put a big smile right on your face
When I play my banjo

"This is the Way the Ladies Ride"

This is the way the ladies ride,
The ladies ride, the ladies ride
This is the way the ladies ride, so early in the morning.

This is the way the gentlemen ride,
The gentlemen ride, the gentlemen ride
This is the way the gentlemen ride, so early in the morning.

This is the way the farmer rides,
The farmer rides, the farmer rides
This is the way the farmer rides, so early in the morning.

This is the way the cowboy rides
The cowboy rides, the cowboy rides
This is the way the cowboy rides, so early in the morning.

Commotion in the Ocean

Books we read today:

"Swim! Swim!," by Lerch
"The Pout-Pout Fish in the Big-Big Dark," by Deborah Diesen

Songs we sang today:

"Goldfish," by Laurie Berkner

Lots of little fish were sleeping on a rock
In the bottom of the ocean
They lifted up their heads
And they shook out their tails
And they said let's go swimming

Let's go swimming lets go swimming
Yeah let's go swimming
Let's go swimming let's go swimming In the bottom of the ocean
Then the little fish got so very very tired
That they came back to the rock
And they put own their heads
And they put down their tails
And they took a little nap

And when they woke up
They decided to take a shower

So whey washed their hair
And they washed their ears
And they washed their tummies
And they washed their beards
And they washed their nose
And they washed their toes
And then they said

"Wait a minute, we're fish!
We don't take showers!"

Let's go swimming let's go swimming…
Then the little fish got so very very tired…

And when woke up
They decided to brush their teeth

So they got out their tooth brush
And their toothpaste
And they squeezed a little on
They tried not to waste
And they put it in their mouth
They brushed north and south
Ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch
And then they said,

"Wait a minute, we're fish!
We don't brush our teeth!:

Let's go swimming lets go swimming…
Then the little shigh got so very very tired…

And when they woke up
They decided to ride their bicycles

So they rode to the left
And they rode to the right
And they rode all day
And they rode all night
They rode down the hill
And then faster still
And then they said,

"Wait a minute, we're fish!
We don't ride bicycles!"

Let's go swimming…
Let's go swimming…

Down By The Bay

Down by the bay (down by the bay)
Where the watermelons grow (where the watermelons grow)
Up to my knee (up to my knee)
I dare not go (I dare not go)
For if I do (for if I do)
My mother will say (my mother will say)...

Did you ever see a mouse painting a house...down by the bay
Did you ever see a frog walking a dog...down by the bay
Did you ever see a whale with a polka dot tail...down by the bay
Did you ever see a fly wearing a tie...down by the bay

10 Little Fishies
10 little fishies swimming in the sea
Teasing Mr. Shark, "you can't catch me"
Along came the shark, quiet as can be and....SNAP (guess which numbered fish he caught, and continue with 9, 8, 7, etc.)
